Employment Services for Individuals with Disabilities
Individuals succeed through realistic goals and are motivated by role models, the encouraging example and mentoring of others who have experienced the important and relevant issues on their road to employment and personal satisfaction.
Included within our one year program, our course offering, "Back to Basics," customized to the consumer and provided as needed, focuses on upgrading employment skills using remedial / competency preparation and transitional coaching.
Entering the workforce training is provided in individualized sessions and consists of general office procedures, computer access and more complex organizational skills.
Our program removes barriers and impediments and enhances an individual's ability to enter the workforce and maintain employment. Included in our "Back to Basics" is specialized tutoring to pass company, civil service and other licensing examinations. Internships and on-the-job training focus on developing work history and work tolerance.

EEC provides courteous, timely and efficient intake of referral information and candidates.
Vocational Assessment
Our experienced Assessment staff evaluates work readiness by work samples and testing, as well as providing a practical work environment.
We uncover and clarify the consumer's portfolio of skills, aptitudes, interests, priorities and work values.
We provide analysis and review of impediments that individuals may have experienced based on their previous attempts to obtain employment. This may include poor work history (not working or frequent job changes) or disability.
Our testing systems allow for all levels of ability to be evaluated. To assist in the assessment process, we have bilingual staff, in-house interpreters, along with aids and other materials to make the initial assessment an enjoyable and learning experience.
Assessment staff supplies comprehensive recommendations and individualized employment strategies, along with realistic steps to achieve the desired goal.
We evaluate compatibility in chosen fields to current labor market and reality of salary expectations and benefits.
